How we compile and check this directory
This page explains where every figure on this site comes from, so you can judge how much weight to give it. It currently covers 304 schools in Thailand.
Where the data comes from
Every field is read from the school's own public website — its fee schedule, admissions pages, prospectus PDFs and contact pages. We do not buy listings data, and no school pays to appear, to rank higher, or to be described differently.
Pages are fetched one school at a time, with a delay between requests, and we honour each site's robots.txt. Where a school blocks automated access, we record nothing rather than filling the gap from another source.
How a figure gets onto a listing
Scraped pages are read into a fixed set of fields — fees, age range, curriculum, class sizes, contact details. The extraction step is instructed to return nothing when a fact isn't stated on the page, rather than infer it. That is why many listings are partly blank: a blank field means we have not found the figure in the school's own material, never that the answer is zero or "no".
Fee rows record the specific page or PDF they were read from, and the date they were read. Map coordinates are only taken where a school publishes them itself, in structured data or an embedded map on its own site. We do not estimate a location from an address.
What "last checked" means
The date on each listing is the day we last read that school's website — not the day the school last changed its fees. Schools revise fee schedules on their own timetable, so always confirm current figures with the school before making a decision. Every listing links to the school's own site for exactly that reason.
163 of 304 listings currently carry a checked date.
What we deliberately don't publish
- No ratings, scores or rankings. We have no basis on which to judge one school better than another, and a number would imply we do.
- No inferred negatives. If we haven't confirmed a school offers boarding or a bus, the listing stays silent rather than saying "not offered".
- No photography we don't have the right to use. Logos and cover images come from the school's own site or its official social profile.
- No sponsored placement. Ordering is driven by the filters you choose.
Current coverage
Coverage is uneven and we'd rather show that than hide it. Of 304 published listings:

Listings with too little information to be useful are excluded from search engines until there is more to show, rather than published as thin pages.
Corrections
If a listing is wrong or out of date — particularly fees — we want to fix it. Schools are welcome to ask for a correction, and we will re-check against the school's own published material and update the checked date.
